Produced in no less than 11 variants, the B-25 gained it's place in history as the aircraft used by Gen. Jimmy Doolittle to bomb Tokyo after taking off from the carrier USS Hornet.

The giant scale B-25 Mitchell plan set is 1/8 scale and consists of four large sheets that clearly illustrate all structure as well as showing installation of flaps and retracts. The B-25 Mitchell plan shows the installation of Robart retracts, fixed wire gear, servos and Zenoah G-23 engine and features three piece wing. The basic structures use conventional “modeling” tools and materials such as balsa and plywood, and the techniques are straightforward; easily accomplished by anyone with previous model building experience. Nick Ziroli Plans recommends covering the airframe with 1 oz fiberglass cloth and ZAP Z-poxy finishing resin and elevator and rudders with cloth covering such as Solartex.
