The only British fighter to be in continuous production throughout the war, the Spitfire continues to be a popular aircraft, with approximately 53 Spitfires being airworthy, while many more are static exhibits in aviation museums all over the world. Used by the Royal Air Force and many other Allied countries during and after the Second World War, the Supermarine is a welcome addition to our collection of giant scale plane plans.

The SPITFIRE plan set consists of four large sheets that clearly illustrate all structure as well as showing installation of gear and flaps the basic structures use conventional "modeling" tools and materials such as balsa and plywood, and the techniques are straightforward; easily accomplished by anyone with previous model building experience. The plan includes separate instruction guide and building notes on the plans and full size templates for all the required parts allowing you to cut a complete "kit" before you start construction.
